Jalapeños back on top after back-to-back wins.

On June 16th, the Jalapeños, after trailing the entire game pulled off a come-from-behind victory against the first place Gunners. Using patience at the plate, the Peños scored 14 runs in the final inning to turn a 7-9 ball game into a lopsided 21-9 victory. Then, on June 20th, the Peños shut out the Monarchs (15-0) on 4 hits to seal a decisive win and further fortify sole control of the top spot in the TCABL. The Jalapeños play 4 games over the next 8 days: Wednesday June 24th against the Pocket Gophers, Saturday June 27th a doubleheader against the Monarchs and Gophers, and finally Tuesday June 30th against the Outlaws.
